Hair Growth Formulas

There are many Hair and Nails formulas on the market, all of which contain minerals and vitamins like Biotin, Thiamine and Folic Acid which are essential for hair and nail growth.   It is important to add these nutrients especially if you are not getting them in your normal diet.  You should also use good hair care products and avoid over-styling since that can reverse the benefits of Vitamins for hair and nail growth.  Hair Gels and Shampoos that promote growth are also useful when hair is thinning.

Maxi-Hair by Country life provides nutrients for nails, hair and skin.  This product and contains Vitamin A, C, E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folic Acid, Vitamin B’s, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Zinc and other nutrients.  Country Life recommends that you take this with food or a whey protein alternative for better absorption.

Nature’s Way Hair and Skin with MSM and Glucosamine has different ingredients that have been known to help hair and nails grow.  MSM and Glucosamine help your body produce things like Collagen which is necessary for elasticity and growth.  This product also contains Biotin which has long been used to thicken hair and cause more growth for thinning hair.

Beta Carotene is another ingredient used in hair and nail products.  Beta Carotene is converted into Vitamin A and is needed for healthy bone, skin, hair and nails.  You can get this by eating foods rich in Beta-Carotene or take a supplement that already contains Vitamin A.

There are also Gels, Serums and Shampoos that promote hair growth.  These usually use a gentle cleanser to clear scalp and add nutrients to the roots of the hair so it grows thicker and stronger.  These used in conjunction with Hair Nutrients can be quite helpful for hair and nail growth over time.

As with anything, having great hair requires prevention and maintenance efforts.  Protect your hair and nails from environmental factors, over-styling and give yourself the nutrients your body needs to keep your mane full and thick.
